peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies

RECIPE

– 2 cups chunky peanut butter

-1/4 cup butter

– 2 cups white sugar

– 2 eggs

– 2 teaspoons baking soda

– pinch of salt

-1 cup  semi-sweet chocolate chunks

-1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

-1/2 cup flour

DIRECTIONS

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees

-In a medium bowl, stir peanut butter, butter and sugar together until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the baking soda, salt, flour and vanilla. Slowly fold in chocolate chunks. 

Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place them 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Press a criss-cross into the top using the back of a fork.

-Bake cookies for 8 minutes in oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking rack for 5 minutes before completely devouring every last one. Or maybe that’s just me…
