I can’t begin to describe now obsessed I am with Barcelona. Walking the streets, I realized this is some where I could see myself living. Of course I made the usual tourist stops of the sagrada familia and museums, but what was different about Barcelona was I never found something I didn’t like. My favorite moments came from times like hiking up the back end of park guell to enjoy the view of Barcelona, or walking on the beach listening to music while soaking up the sun and watching surfers. This city has so much life and passion surrounding it. The energy is astounding and proven in the nightlife (out until six am every night) and the way people are so passionate about their city and culture. I spent a majority of my time here wandering, finding local shops and art galleries, trying new cuisine at restaurants. I also celebrated my birthday yesterday walking around, feeling blessed for how lucky I am to have the luxury of visiting such an amazing city. Barcelona, you have not seen the last of me.

I’ve been to Madrid and a few other cities in Spain but not Barcelona. Goodness, I’d love to see the Sagrada Familia cathedral! I can’t believe it’s still under construction, haha. Looks like you had a good time!
