ribboned asparagus with lemon

Upon first seeing this recipe, I still wasn’t completely convinced that uncooked asparagus would be good. My oh my was I wrong. This salad is crisp and the perfect blend of citric and nutty flavors. My favorite part is it takes only ten minutes to make, and taste wonderful. I nixed the parmesan to take out dairy but followed the general outlines of the recipe here (she has a much better camera than I do too).
